ART obsession — since 1991
Drawing from art’s legacy and a range of historical influences, my work is grounded in lived experience. It began as a way to process abuse and trauma, something direct, necessary, and ongoing. Over time, it has remained rooted in that condition, not as a resolution but as a continuation. A recent confrontation with mortality introduced a different clarity. Time is no longer abstract. What matters is reduced, immediate, and held closer. There is less distance now between life and work. The work reflects that shift, less concerned with explanation and more focused on what remains, what is carried, and what continues.
